A two-wheeled scavenger hunt with a twist
Remember scavenger hunts from your childhood days when organizers actually expected you to walk around the neighborhood looking for clues and goodies? We thought it was pretty silly that we couldn’t ride our bicycles, too.
In this case, consider the Urban Assault Ride evolution. Billed the biggest scavenger hunt series in the world, teams of two take the streets on a city-wide bike adventure. Teams plot their own courses to checkpoints around town with plenty of obstacules along the way—think modified Big Wheels, bike jousting, The Keg Walk and inflatable slides.
It’s an event for anybody who can pedal a bike (ages 7 and up), followed by an after party, big prize drawings and plenty of beer from the sponsor, New Belgium Brewing Co.
Urban Assault Ride dates:
- July 26: Denver
- Aug. 16: St. Louis
- Sept. 20: Chicago
- Sept. 27: Minneapolis
